How to become a total failure

Like the other books (writtten by Dr. William Guillory) I've translated I sent the "Failure Book" to my aunt in Munich. "Very warm regards. Enjoy reading. Ulla."
Some days later, Bill (Dr. William Guillory, author of the book: "How to become a total failure - the ten rules of highly unseccessful people) and me had facilitated a seminar together and he was still visiting; we had breakfast. The phone started ringing. I answered the call and heard: "How come that this man knows me so well? I never met him! How can he know how I'm feeling?"
Right, my aunt. "I don't want to disturb you" (already done), "but I had to call you."
What happened?
Vanessa, my aunt's granddaughter, was visiting her grandmother together with a friend of hers. Both stayed over night and grandma made a wonderful breakfast in the morning time. There was orange juice, tea, milk, butter, croissants, rolls, marmelade, honey, and, and, and. All these good things stood on the table - and the girls were still in bed! My aunt wanted to wake them - she tried to. She was flogging a dead horse! The answer was: "Let us sleep. We are tired. We don't want any breakfast."
Disappointed and a 'bit angry she was sitting at the table, observed the breakfast and was sad. She was so sad that even tears started rolling. Why did she do all this? Why doesn't anybody even see what she was doing? She was there for everybody. With no response.
Thoughts were running through her mind. My uncle came to the dining room and asked her what happened. She started talking about her disapointment. Without a word he left and came back after a short time with the book "How to become a total Failure - The ten rules of highly unsuccessful people" in his hand. He put it on the table and said: "Start reading. I already read the book and I've learned a lot about my patterns and behaviours."
This was the first time ever, that he started talking about a book he read. My aunt opened the "Failure-Book" and started reading .....
